Competitive Soccer for the Advanced Player

AYSO Region 87 is pleased to offer a competitive soccer program for the more advanced player.  Our program has been enhanced this year to offer more than ever!  The Extra program is a Tryout-based program for children playing in U9-U14. 

This year the Region 87 Extra Program is expanding its commitment to player development. We have created a new format that will include professional training for all players in the program.

·      Team training session with an advanced coach to instruct players on team tactics

·      Weekly training by a professional trainer for U-11 through U-14 designed with the team's coach to meet the needs of the team

·      Weekly group training for U-9 and U-10 players for skills training to build a foundation of proper form and technique for the younger player

  The Extra Program is intended for players and families who want more than a casual weekend soccer experience. We are striving to improve the quality of our region’s individual players. With this new format we believe we are making positive steps in accomplishing this goal.
